Kathmandu. Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydropower Company limited has released its revised financial statements for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year. According to the statement, the company’s losses have increased compared to the previous financial year.
At the end of the last fiscal year, the company had a loss of Rs 22.5 million. In the previous fiscal year, the company had incurred a loss of Rs 14.9 million. The losses have increased with the decrease in the company’s electricity sales income.
During the review period, the company’s electricity sales income decreased from Rs 148.8 million to Rs 143.7 million. Similarly, the company’s total profit has come down from Rs 140 million to Rs 136.2 million. During the review period, the total expenditure of the company increased from Rs 62.7 million to Rs 72.6 million.
As of mid-July, the company’s earnings per share was negative at Rs 5.65 and net worth per share was Rs 77.14. With a paid-up capital of Rs 400 million, the company has a negative earnings of Rs 104.7 million.
