Kathmandu. Mandakini Hydropower Company has published its financial statements for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year. The company has posted a net profit of Rs 39.8 million during the period under review.
The company’s profit has increased by 22.94 percent compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 32.4 million in the fourth quarter of the previous fiscal year. In the last fiscal year, the company has been able to increase electricity sales revenue. Meanwhile, the company’s financial expenses have also decreased. As a result, the company’s profit has improved.
In the last fiscal year, the company’s electricity sales revenue increased by 1.51 percent to Rs 101.176 million. In the same period of the previous fiscal year, the company’s income was Rs 107.55 million.
During this period, the operating profit of the company increased by 4.41 percent to Rs 96 million 29 thousand. In the previous fiscal year, the company had a profit of Rs 91.97 million.
In the last fiscal year, the company’s financial income stood at Rs 8.79 million. The company’s financial revenue has increased by 25.25 percent in one year. In the previous fiscal year, the company’s financial income was Rs 7 million 23 thousand.
In the last fiscal year, the company incurred financial expenditure of Rs 22.72 million. The company’s expenditure has decreased by 18.65 percent compared to the previous fiscal year. In the previous fiscal year, the company had spent Rs 27.93 million.
The company’s earnings per share have also increased slightly. During the review period, the company’s earnings increased by 90 paise to Rs 6.17. As of Mid-July, the company’s net worth per share stood at Rs 107.13 and the price-earnings ratio was 97.63 times. In the last fiscal year, the paid-up capital of the company stood at Rs 646.7 million while the company’s other equities stood at Rs 46.1 million.
