Kathmandu. Highlife has entered the rice business as a new product. Chairman of the company Ambika Prasad Poudel and other directors unveiled basmati rice as a new product of Highlife at the Highlife Partner Meet held in Kathmandu today.

According to the company, HighLife has introduced extra long grain basmati rice, pulau basmati rice and GI rice in the market.

Keeping in mind the taste, nutrition and trust of Nepali consumers, Highlife Foods has introduced premium basmati rice as a new product. GI rice will also be suitable for diabetic patients.

Packed with long grains, excellent taste and natural aroma, this rice can be used as a suitable and quality alternative from the kitchen to the restaurant. Compared to other basmati rice, this basmati rice of Highlife Foods is pure, clean and full of nutritious ingredients.

Chairman Poudel said, “Till date, HighLife has launched 20 different products under FMCG, including Kurumkurum Chuura, Chokoplus, Conflex, Masaura, Besan, Brucelly, Ketchup, Jam, Almonds, Chiacids, Pistachios, etc. “Now we have brought basmati rice based on the demand of the common consumers,” he said.

Stating that the company has suffered a lot of ups and downs till date, he said that he is now moving ahead with the plan to take the company in a new way to FMCG and make it the first choice company of the consumers.
