Kathmandu. Minister for Energy and Nepali Congress lawmaker Deepak Khadka’s hotel ‘Holiday in Resort Budhanilkantha’ has done business worth Rs 135 million in one year. The hotel had a turnover of Rs 136 million in the last fiscal year.
The hotel came into operation in July 2024. Established in 2010 as Hotel Forest Inn, the company operates a five-star hotel under the Holiday Inn Resort Budhanilkantha brand. The hotel is spread over an area of 1.24 hectares. The hotel has 104 rooms. The resort has been constructed at an investment of Rs 3.57 billion in 20 ropanis of land.
The company has been rated for long-term and short-term loans of Rs 2.16 billion. The company has a rating of Rs 2.11 billion for long-term loans and Rs 50 million for short-term loans.
Binita Thapa Khadka owns 32 per cent stake in the hotel. Holiday in Resort, an international hotel brand, is an American-based hotel chain. The Holiday Inn Hotel and Resort brand operates in more than 100 countries around the world.
