Kathmandu. Nerude Mirmire Laghubitta Financial Institution and Upkar Laghubitta Financial Institution Limited have joined the gratuity and pension scheme run by the Citizen Investment Fund.
There are about 1,100 employees in Nerude Microfinance, while upkar Microfinance has more than 100 employees.
There is a provision for the participation of organized organizations and employees of such organizations in this scheme of the fund. Under this, organizations can manage the gratuity fund based on contribution or non-contribution. According to the same arrangement, both micro-finance institutions have joined the fund’s gratuity scheme. National Laghubitta Financial Institution Limited has already been associated with the fund.
Under the gratuity and pension scheme launched by the Fund since 2055, the fund collects and invests the amount of gratuity and pension of the employees and workers working in various organized organizations and pays after the retirement of the employees. There is a provision to participate in this scheme by depositing contribution-based and non-yoga-based funds.
At present, 1,150 organized organizations and about 33,000 employees working in such organizations are participating in this scheme. Employees participating in the scheme will get housing loan facility, home repair, reconstruction, rescheduling and home decoration facility.
Similarly, the participants will get easy loan facility for economic, social, cultural and family activities.
