Kathmandu. Kathmandu: Cases of banking fraud have been registered at the District Police Complex, Kathmandu.
According to campus chief Bishwa Adhikari, 6,553 cases of banking offences were registered in 12,915 cases registered in a year.
Incidents of cooperative fraud, unfair transactions, electronic crimes, cyber crimes and non-material currency related crimes have increased. A total of 35 cases are registered on the campus every day.
A total of 26 cases of cooperative fraud were registered in the fiscal year 2080÷81, while 32 cases were registered in the fiscal year 2081÷82. A total of 140 cases of attempt to murder have been registered in the premises, he said.
