Kathmandu. Butwal Power Company Limited has published the revised financial statements for the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year. According to the company’s financial statement, the profit has increased compared to the same period of the financial year 2080/81.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 193.9 million at the end of the fiscal year 2080-81, but earned only Rs 226.1 million at the end of the last fiscal year. The company’s net profit increased by 16.58 percent in the review period.
During the review period, the company’s electricity sales revenue increased by 5.79 percent to Rs 733.7 million. Similarly, the company’s total profit increased by 23.92 percent in the review period, while other income decreased by 6.74 percent. The company’s operating profit increased by 24.34 percent in the review period.
Along with the profit, the company’s earnings per share have also increased. During the review period, the company’s earnings increased by 94 paise to Rs 6.63. At the end of the last financial year, the company’s net worth per share was Rs 208.2 and the price earnings ratio was 144.39 times.
The company has a paid-up capital of Rs 3.40 billion and other equities of Rs 3.68 billion.
