Kathmandu. Kathmandu: The Shankhamul Ganesh Marg road in ward no. 31 of the federal capital Kathmandu has been rocked for months while Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli presented a list of development projects in the House of Representatives yesterday.

The locals of the area are forced to travel on the muddy roads every day as the ward and the builders are not working effectively. According to Ward No. 31 Ward Chair Saroj Dhakal, 383 meters of 82-inch drainage has been installed as per the local demand and the melamchi drinking water pipe has been laid.

Although the sewage management work on the road has been completed, the local people have to suffer on the shaky road as the construction company has not done the remaining work. Tundal Construction and Suppliers Pvt. Ltd. will complete the work by mid-September 2082. 10719323.68 Except VAT and PS, the construction agreement has not progressed.

According to local businessman Saroj Timalsina, the ward and the contractor did not do a good job and the soil dug during sewage management was kept on the road. Locals have complained that the ward and the contractor company have been negligent in making the road, which was excavated since May 15, remain the same.
