Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has increased the exchange limit of US dollar on silver imports. The central bank has increased this facility by amending the unified directive of the exchange trading body.

Now such agencies will be able to facilitate the exchange of silver ornaments, artistic goods, utensils, etc. to the limit of US$ 500,000 or other convertible foreign currency per time when they import silver for their own purposes as industrial raw materials for making silver ornaments, artistic goods, utensils, etc. Earlier, such exchange facility was up to $ 300,000.
