Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has revised the long form audit report prepared by the banks. Issuing a circular on Monday, the Rastra Bank amended the framework of the Long Form Audit Report by amending the unified directive.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has made provisions to implement the revised audit report format from the time of preparation of the report for the last fiscal year 2081÷82 BS. According to the revised provision of the Rastra Bank, the auditor should now give opinion on risk management and also give opinion about non-banking assets, ESRM, risk management committee towards credit risk.
Similarly, opinions should also be given on IT and cyber security risks towards operational risk. Opinions should be added on compliance function, monitoring report of Rastra Bank and digital banking towards internal control system.
