Discussion on strengthening India-China bilateral relations

New Delhi. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held a cordial meeting in New Delhi today. During the talks, discussions focused on further strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and expanding cooperation on issues of mutual interest.

Prime Minister Modi stressed the need for long-term cooperation in various fields by enhancing mutual understanding and trust between India and China. At the same time, he stressed the need to resolve border issues through peaceful dialogue and create an environment where such issues do not take the form of conflict.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said the two sides have agreed to resume dialogue mechanisms in various fields, taking his visit to India as an opportunity to pave the way for high-level dialogue and cooperation in the future. He made it clear that China is fully committed to further strengthening cooperation based on mutual interest with India.
