Kathmandu. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be generally cloudy in the hilly region and partly cloudy in the rest of the country this afternoon. There are chances of moderate rainfall at one or two places of the hilly and tarai regions.

Similarly, moderate rain is likely to occur at a few places of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces tonight. Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at one or two places of the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.

The Division has warned that there is a risk of landslide and debris flow in the hilly areas of the country due to rain, the water level in big and small rivers and rivulets may rise and the transport sector may be affected.
