Nepal Telecom signs MoU with Rastriya Banijya Bank

Kathmandu. Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB) and Nepal Telecommunication Company Limited (Nepal Telecom) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the operation of pension account, salary savings account and simple loan for professionals. The agreement was signed amidst a program held at the head office of Nepal Telecom today.

Sabina Maskey Pradhan, Managing Director of Nepal Telecom and Devendra Raman Khanal, CHIEF Executive Officer of Rastriya Banijya Bank signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides. “The commercial bank will operate pension accounts for the retired employees of Nepal Telecom and provide salaried savings accounts, professional simple loans and other services to the working employees,” reads the agreement.

Established on February 1, 2022 BS, The Commercial Bank has been providing services through 310 branch offices in all 77 districts.

Pawan Regmi, Deputy Executive Officer of the bank, said that the bank is focusing on technology-based financial inclusion and sustainable banking service development by making its services timely.
