Ambassador Kafledra presents certificate of office

Kathmandu. Nepal’s Ambassador to Brazil Nirmal Raj Kafle today presented his credentials as the Non-Resident Ambassador of Nepal to The President of Peru Dina Ersilia Boluarte Zagara.

Presenting the certificate of office at a special ceremony held in Lima, Ambassador Kafle, on behalf of President Ram Chandra Poudel and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, wished President Zegara personal happiness, good health as well as continued peace and prosperity of the Peruvian people, according to the Embassy of Nepal in Brasilia.

On the occasion, President Zegara extended best wishes to Ambassador Kafle for the success of his tenure and said that his government would extend full support to him. Senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Office of the President were present on the occasion.

Earlier, Ambassador Kafle met various officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs separately and exchanged views on various aspects of bilateral relations and cooperation.

Ambassador Kafle held discussions with the Peruvian officials on south-south cooperation, exchange of trade delegations, economic partnership, promotion of cultural and people-to-people relations, multilateral engagement in matters of common interest, protection of rich biodiversity of both countries from the adverse effects of climate change and sustainable mountain development.
