Kathmandu. The meeting of the House of Representatives is taking place at 1:00 pm today at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneshwor. Today’s meeting is scheduled to pass the ‘Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2082 BS’.

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel is scheduled to present a proposal for discussion on the bill.

Similarly, the minister concerned will answer oral questions related to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Forest and Environment.

President of agriculture, cooperatives and natural resources committee Kusum Devi Thapa will present the committee’s report on the bill to amend some Nepal Acts related to land, 2082 BS.

Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Ramnath Adhikari will present a proposal seeking consideration of the Nepal Veterinary Council (First Amendment) Bill, 2082 BS.

Similarly, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Prithvi Subba Gurung will present a proposal to send the Information Technology and Cyber Security Bill, 2082 BS to the concerned committee for clause-wise discussion. Minister for Youth and Sports Tejulal Chaudhary is scheduled to present a proposal to send the National Sports Development (First Amendment) Bill, 2082 BS to the concerned committee for clause-wise discussion.

The National Assembly is meeting at 12:15 pm. In today’s meeting, the concerned ministers will answer the oral questions related to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies and Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.

Similarly, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Badri Prasad Pandey will present a proposal seeking consideration of the Non-Material Cultural Heritage (Protection) Bill, 2081 BS.

Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak will present a proposal seeking discussion on the Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081 BS along with the report of the Legislation Management Committee. A possible agenda has been set to discuss and pass the proposal.
