Dr. Harihardev Pant Economic Journalism Award to Humagain

Kathmandu. Father of microfinance in Nepal Late Dr. The Economic Journalism Award instituted in the memory of Harihardev Panta will be presented to Yadav Humagain, a correspondent of The Economic Campaign daily, this year.

Dr. The award was instituted by Harihardev Pant Foundation. The 10th annual punya memorial day of Panta will be presented to Humagain on September 15.

The Foundation has been awarding the Financial Journalism Award to one outstanding economic journalist or association and organization every year. Earlier, the award was given to Gokarna Awasthi, full president of The Society of Economic Journalists of Nepal (SEJON), along with economic journalists Bishnu Belwase, Eliza Upreti, Mamta Thapa, Bijay Raj Khanal, Yagya Banjade and Krishna Rijal.

Various newspapers, radio, television, online news and journalists were honoured for their significant contribution to the country’s overall development as well as economic development through journalism.

Also run by the foundation. Under the Harihardev Pant Economic Journalism Award Program, this year’s Dr. Sharma has been selected from among the journalists or organizations that disseminate and broadcast the message-oriented economic news of the economic sector. Humagain, who has been writing in the financial field for more than 15 years, is going to receive the Harihardev Pant Economic Journalism Award. It has a purse of Rs 1 00,000.
