Medicity Hospital has done business of more than Rs 2.5 billion in a year

Kathmandu. Nepal Medicity Hospital, owned by Non-Resident Citizen and entrepreneur Upendra Mahato, has done business worth Rs 1.25 billion in the last fiscal year.

In the last fiscal year, the hospital has done business worth Rs 2.55 billion. The business of this hospital has decreased compared to the previous fiscal year. In the previous fiscal year, it had made a business of Rs 2.74 billion.

Similarly, the hospital had a turnover of Rs 2.82 billion in 2023 and Rs 2.78 billion in 2022. The hospital has a rating of Rs 494.14 crore for long-term and short-term loans. Care Rating Nepal, the rating agency for long-term loans of the hospital, has given ‘CARE-NP DoubleB’ rating and ‘CARE-NP A4’ rating for short-term loans.

The company started its commercial operations in 2017 under the name of Nepal Medicity Hospital. The hospital is nepal’s first hospital accredited by Hospital and Healthcare Providers International. The hospital has a capacity of 247 beds. The hospital has been providing various types of specialized health services.
