Kathmandu. On the second trading day of the week, the stock market rose on Monday. The stock market, which has been declining for the last three trading days, rose on Monday.
On Monday, the NEPSE index rose 21.30 points to 2,761.26 points. On Monday, the Sensex gained 3.18 points, followed by the Float Index by 1.29 points and the Sensitive Float Index by 1.07 points.
Although the stock market has increased on Monday, the transaction amount has decreased. Shares worth Rs 5.75 billion were traded in the market on Monday, up from Rs 6.5 billion on the previous trading day.
Out of the 13 sub-groups traded today, the index of 11 sub-groups has increased. The index of the remaining two sub-groups has decreased. Shares of the two companies traded at positive circuit levels on Monday. Shares of Narayani Development Bank and Bikash Hydropower Company were traded at positive circuit levels today.
