Kathmandu. Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank. Bishwa Poudel’s first signature will be on a Rs 1,000 note.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has invited international tenders for printing new rs 1,000 notes. The central bank has invited international bids for designing, printing, supplying and distributing 4.3 million new notes.

The companies interested in printing the note can submit the bid proposal by October 9. The bid has to be submitted to the Banking Department of the Rastra Bank at Thapathali.

Eligible companies will have to deposit Rs 20,000 or $144 or 123 euros or 107 pounds while submitting the proposal.
