According to the original statement, lord Bethanchowk Narayan could not fulfill the promise made to marry Panchakanya Devi there, due to which all the people, including the bride, who came for the wedding, remained shila (stone), so the name of that place is called Jantidhunga.
A staircase has been built to see the stone on the wall. The ward office is planning to construct a statue of Buddha at a flat place above Jantidhunga and build a staircase leading to it.
