Kathmandu. The Tulsipur-Butwal bench of the High Court has ordered to seek a report on the case filed by Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane.
On Wednesday, a single bench of Justice Sagar Bista ordered to summon the report and the original file.
Lamichhane, who is also a former Home Minister, had filed a petition with the High Court on August 12, alleging that the District Court Rupandehi did not release him even after filing a huge amount of money in the cooperative. The petition was debated.
Earlier, Ravi had filed an application in the district court seeking to get rid of the cooperative fraud case by submitting his share.
A charge sheet has been filed against Lamichhane and other defendants in the Supreme Cooperative Fraud Case.
Lamichhane has filed an application for a bank guarantee of Rs 27.48 million. However, the court has not allowed him to be released.
