Kathmandu. Today is the last day to apply for the purchase of units of NIC Asia Equity Linked Investment Scheme.

Nic Asia Capital has opened the issue and sale fund from August 15 and applications can be made only till the office hours today.

Nic Asia Bank mutual fund is an open-ended scheme under the management of NIC Asia Capital. Capital has issued 50 million units worth Rs 500 million at the rate of Rs 10 per unit.

Capital has secured 15 percent of the 100 million units i.e. 15 million units worth Rs 150 million to the scheme manager NIC Asia Bank. Out of the remaining 85 million units, 50 million units have been issued to the general public.

A minimum of 100 to 10 million units can be applied under the scheme. NIC Asia Capital is the issue manager of the scheme. Applications can be made through banks and financial institutions that are members of the Securities Board of Nepal and my shares.
