Damauli. Under the Muglin-Pokhara Road Project (Western Section), blacktopping has begun at Jamuna Bazaar. Out of the 39 kilometers of this section, 36.8 kilometers have been blacktopped while the remaining sections have been blacktopped.

According to Krishna Kunwar, chief of muglin-Pokhara road project (western section), blacktopping is yet to be done around Mauriodar of Myagde, Dullegouda of Shuklagandaki, Bijayapul of Kaski and Pokhara University under the western section. Of the 12 bridges in this section, 10 bridges have been constructed and 92 out of 100 culverts have also been constructed. The construction of this section, which was started at a cost of Rs 7.4 billion, is expected to be completed by December next year.
