Kathmandu. The government has invited applications for the post of chairman of the Board of Directors of Nepal Insurance Authority.

The recommendation committee formed for the appointment of chairman has invited applications. The committee has issued a notice giving seven days’ time to fill the vacant post of chairman of the NEA’s board of directors through open competition on Saturday.

Interested Nepali citizens with the qualifications prescribed by the government can submit a secret envelope to the Financial Sector Management and Institutions Coordination Division of the Ministry of Finance during office hours within 7 days. According to the recommendation committee formed for the appointment of chairman, a person with at least a master’s degree in monetary banking, commerce management, public administration, statistics, mathematics, economics or law as per sub-section (1) (a) of Section 8 of the Insurance Act, 2079 can apply.

The person applying for the post of chairman should be of high moral character. A person who has attained the age of 30 years and has not crossed the age of 65 years can apply as prescribed in the Criteria relating to appointment and nomination of office-bearers and members of public bodies affiliated to the Ministry of Finance, 2073 (including the second amendment). ।

Adhikari and Upadhyay, who could not select a qualified person six months ago in the Insurance Authority, have the same responsibility again.

For appointment to the post of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nepal Insurance Authority, the applicant will have to prove the documents and details mentioned in Section 3 of the Procedure related to the recommendation, 2082 and carry two copies of passport size photographs.

Along with the application, four copies of the business action plan referred to in Section 5 of the above procedure will have to be submitted in envelope. Outside the envelope of the envelope proposal, the applicant’s name and application for the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Insurance Authority of Nepal and the business action plan must be signed separately.
