Kathmandu. Kathmandu. Nabil Bank Limited and Nimbaj have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for data e-SIM and international driving permit service. With this agreement, Nabil Bank customers will be able to avail data e-SIM and international driving permit services for different countries through nbank mobile app.

On behalf of the bank, Deputy CHIEF Executive Officer Adarsha Bajgain and Nimbaj Director Rishabh Timilsina signed the agreement amidst a program. After the agreement, customers will now be able to get data e-SIM for more than 200 countries and regions including China, India, USA, Australia, Dubai, Thailand, Qatar, Japan, Korea, Italy, France, Canada through the bank’s app. According to the bank, those travelling to different countries and regions, students and those going for foreign employment will be able to buy international data plans of the respective countries from the bank’s app.

Bajgai, deputy chief executive officer of the bank, said that the agreement has been signed keeping in mind the problem of internet as soon as he goes abroad, the need to fill the KYC form for the purchase of SIM and the compulsion to pay foreign currency. He also informed that one can easily purchase a data package suited to you from the app.

Along with this, international driving permits can also be obtained from the NBank app. According to the bank, the license is valid for more than 190 countries. Customers of the bank can apply online within 10 minutes through the app. To get this license, you have to upload your driving license. If you do not have to take the exam while taking permission through this medium, then an electronic license is available within 24 hours. It can be obtained in both digital or physical card form.

Nimbaj Director Timilsina expressed the belief that this service will make cross-border movement easier and stress-free for students, foreign employment seekers and international travelers.
