Kathmandu. Gorkha: An earthquake has occurred at Hanshpur of Ajirkot rural municipality-3 in Gorkha district. According to the National Centre for Seismology and Research, Lainchaur, an earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale occurred around 6:15 am today.

Earlier, an earthquake measuring 4 on the Richter scale had struck around Helmcho in Ramechhap district on August 14. Earthquakes of the Sasana Richter scale have been occurring in Nepal lately. Nepal is considered as an earthquake risk zone as it is a Himalayan region.
