Kathmandu. Global IME Bank has won the best bank award under the ‘Euro Money Award for Excellence 2025’.

Representatives of Euromoney Magazine handed over the awards to Ram Bahadur Bhandari, board member of the bank and Shishir Shakya, manager of treasury and correspondent banking department, at a special ceremony held in Singapore on Tuesday.

The award has been given on the basis of outstanding performance in the areas of services, financial condition, technology, good governance and social responsibility provided to the customers.

With this, Global IME Bank has won the Euro Money Best Bank Award for the third time. Earlier, the bank had won the award in 2022/2024. Global IME Bank is the first private sector commercial bank to have a network across the country.

The bank has 352 branches, 384 ATMs, 155 branchless banking services, 68 extension and revenue collection counters and three foreign representative offices.
