Similarly, in the last fiscal year, 50,533 people from SAARC countries visited the area while 169,395 people from other countries visited the area. Pradhan said that the income has increased due to the increase in the number of tourists in the last fiscal year compared to the previous fiscal year.
The amount collected from the entry fee from the tourists visiting Hanumandhoka is the income of the office. At present, rs 500 has been fixed for saarc countries and Rs 1,000 for tourists coming from other countries. Although there is no fee for the entry of Nepalis, there is a fee for visiting the museum.
Although the place can be done at any time for visiting, the time for seeing the living Goddess Kumari has been fixed from 11:00 am to 12:30 am and 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Up to 700 tourists visit Hanumandhoka every day during the tourist season. According to Pradhan, the number of tourists visiting the country is especially in September, September and October.
It is believed that tourists will come as per the expectations as the historic IndraJatra is approaching this year as well. Since the place and Indra Jatra can be seen at the same time, more tourists come to the area during the Indra Jatra than other times.
Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has been inviting representatives of neighbouring local levels and foreign guests to observe indra jatra.
