Kathmandu. Curfew has been imposed in Itahari area of Sunsari district for an indefinite period following the rise in the agitation of the Genji generation.

According to the District Administration Office, Sunsari, the curfew has been imposed in the area from 3:30 pm today until another notice.

Chief District Officer Dharmendra Kumar Mishra said curfew has been imposed in the area within four kilometers as per Clause 6 (A) of the Local Administration Act, 2028.

Meetings, processions, demonstrations, meetings and gherao are not allowed in the area.
