Bow. All schools and campuses in Janakpurdham Municipality area have been closed for an indefinite period.

PABSON Janakpurdham and National PABSON Janakpurdham, the umbrella organizations of private schools, issued a joint press release today stating that the schools have been closed until further notice in view of security sensitivities and situation arising out of the ‘Genji’ agitation.

“We pay tribute to the students who lost their lives during the agitation and express deep condolences to the bereaved families,” the statement reads. In view of the current unsafe situation, we would like to inform that the schools and campuses have been suspended until further notice. ’

National PABSON President Deepak Kumar Thakur and PABSON President Rabindra Kumar Chaudhary issued a joint statement stating that parents and students are living in fear due to unsafe environment on the roads.

He also appealed to all sides to resolve the problem through peace, stability and dialogue, adding that classes would be resumed soon if the situation returned to normal.
