Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Hotel Association of Nepal has urged tourists to ease their movement. Issuing a press release today, the Association called for creating tourism-friendly environment by easing the inflow of tourists.
“As the prohibitory order has been imposed across the country due to the current difficult situation and the travel of tourists is uncertain due to the closure of the airport, managing the travel of tourists as soon as possible with priority is directly related to the image of the country and the future of tourism,” the statement reads.
Hotel Association Nepal has been working in collaboration and coordination with Nepal Tourism Board and Nepal Army for proper management and facilitation of tourists in different parts of the country affected by the current situation. Hotel Association Nepal’s hotline contact number 9851031495 has also been requested if they need hotel accommodation.
The Association has said that the hospitality sector including hotels is active as usual under the proper management of tourists in and out of Nepal during the transition period. The necessary priority and initiative from all sides in this task would help to prevent excessive and unexpected cancellation from tourists coming to Nepal to some extent.
“The arson on private and public properties including hotels is the destruction of the country’s property and it will require the construction of such important infrastructures in the future as limited means and resources of the country will have to be spent,” reads the statement.
The association has also prayed for eternal peace of the soul of the great youth who sacrificed his life for change and wished for quality medical treatment and speedy recovery to the injured.
