Kathmandu. Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and Foreign Minister Dr Yuba were injured in the incident. Arzoo Rana is out of danger.

According to Deuba’s personal secretary Bhanu Deuba, the couple is receiving treatment at a hospital in Kathmandu. The Deuba couple was beaten up by the agitators at their residence in Budhanilkantha on Tuesday.

According to the doctors involved in the treatment, both of them were struck with sharp weapons on the back of their heads. Both underwent MRI tests and were found to be non-life-threatening.

The Nepal Army has been receiving treatment at a hospital in Kathmandu on Tuesday evening after protesters obstructed efforts to take the couple to the hospital by helicopter.
