Kathmandu. The Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), which was closed since Tuesday afternoon due to the protest, has been closed since Wednesday evening.
General Manager of the airport, Hansraj Pandey, said that the number of passengers going abroad has increased after a meeting of the Airport Security Committee decided to reopen the airport from this evening.
“The airport was closed at 3:30 pm on Tuesday due to the protest. The number of passengers has increased after the resumption of operation from today. ’
After the resumption of operation of the airport, the Kathmandu airport administration has urged passengers to come to the airport only after contacting the agency or the concerned airline.
