Kathmandu. Pokhara—Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has handed over a table and chair to Pokhara Metropolitan City-30 to operate its office under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.
During the anti-corruption movement in Genji, all the equipment and furniture in the office were destroyed. Laxmi Dhakal, branch manager of Dhungepatan branch of Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank, handed over the furniture to ward chair Durga Prasad Subedi.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, ward chairman Durga Prasad Subedi thanked the bank for providing support to operate the office by reconstructing structures damaged during the agitation and urged other stakeholders to also get involved in the reconstruction.
The bank has handed over computers and printers to the District Police Office, Kaski, which destroyed the office equipment and other physical infrastructures during the agitation. Shiva Kumar Dhakal, chief of the bank’s Pokhara region, handed over the computers and printers to DSP Hari Bahadur Basnet of District Police Office, Kaski.
The bank has started handing over the necessary materials and reconstruction of various ward offices, land revenue offices and police offices damaged during the agitation.
