Kathmandu. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the monsoon low pressure trough is located around the average place at present.

According to the Division, the weather will be generally cloudy throughout the country today. Likewise, moderate rain is likely to occur at some places of the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and at a few places of Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces towards the afternoon. Likewise, heavy rain is likely to occur at one or two places of the hilly region of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, and at a few places of the hilly and terai regions of Sudurpaschim province.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather will be generally cloudy throughout the country tonight. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at some places of Koshi Province, Madhes Province, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province and at a few places of hilly and terai provinces.

There are chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of Koshi Province, Madhes Province and Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province.
