According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather will be generally cloudy throughout the country towards the afternoon. There are chances of moderate rain in some places of the hilly region and at a few places of the Tarai region. There are chances of heavy rainfall at one or two places of Koshi Province, Bagmati Province and Gandaki Province.

Similarly, the weather will be generally cloudy throughout the country tonight. Light to moderate rain is likely to occur at some places of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and at a few places of the rest of the country. Heavy rain is predicted at one or two places of the hilly region of Gandaki Province including Koshi, Madhes and Lumbini.
