Protest has added challenges to investment and employment, negative impact on consumer confidence: NADA

Kathmandu. The NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA) has said that the current situation in the country has had a negative impact on consumer confidence. Issuing a press release on Sunday, Nada said that the current situation in the country has negatively impacted consumer confidence and has added challenges to investment and employment in the long run.

“The automobile sector of Nepal is an important pillar of industry, trade, and employment in the country. The current incident has also raised concerns about the safety of employees, customers and the entire structure.

Similarly, the recent nationwide agitations and demonstrations have had a deep impact on the country. “NADA extends its deepest condolences to the entire family of those affected. We pay our heartfelt tribute to the painful incident of loss of life and wish eternal peace to the departed soul. We also sincerely pray for the speedy recovery of all the injured citizens. NADA said.

NADA believes that every complex and difficult problem can be resolved through peaceful dialogue and consensus. NADA has urged the government to accord the highest priority to the safety of the entire business community. It has also called on the government to provide necessary support and facilitation to bring the automobile sector back to normalcy.

NADA pledges to continuously work to protect the interests of its member companies, consumer confidence, and the entire automobile industry in the country. NADA believes that the country will move towards stability soon through united efforts, responsible leadership and positive dialogue.
