Kathmandu. Former finance secretary Rameshwor Khanal is all set to become the finance minister of the new government.
It is said that Khanal will be made the Finance Minister in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Sushila Karki.
Earlier, the government had formed a high-level economic reform recommendation commission under Khanal’s convenorship. Khanal has submitted a 447-page report to the government.
The commission had started its work from October 23 and prepared a report in five months and gave policy suggestions for economic reforms to the government.
It is said that Prime Minister Karki is likely to make Kulman Ghising a minister.
