Kathmandu. Nepal Police has decided to give Rs 10 lakh each to the families of those killed during the Zenji agitation on September 7 and 24.

The Nepal Police Headquarters has decided to provide Rs 10 lakh each to the family. The amount will be provided by deducting the salary of the Inspector General of Police to the Inspector General of Police.

“A decision has been made to provide Rs 1 million each to the families of those who lost their lives in the line of duty during the agitation on 2082-05/23 and 24 BS,” reads the statement. Three police personnel were killed in the protests.
