Kathmandu. Vianet said on Sunday that its internet and Via-TV services were back to normal after the Genji agitation set the servers on fire.

According to the company, although the service has not yet reached its full capacity, most of the customers are in a position to avail the service. The service is expected to be fully operational once the remaining servers are moved to another data center.

According to the company, moving the server to another data center may slow down Vianet’s internet a bit. The company’s Vianet subscriber mobile app is back in full operation. The call center has also come into operation with increased capacity.

Vianet’s fiber technicians have worked day and night to repair most of the fiber lines that were damaged in the recent incident.
