188 vehicles destroyed in Dang

Dang. A total of 188 vehicles were destroyed in the district during the Zenji protests. Assistant Chief District Officer Yagya Bahadur Budha said 44 four-wheelers were completely damaged in the rainstorm. Tippers, tractors, excavators, tailors, loaders, fire trucks and other vehicles were burnt in the fire.

Likewise, among the 133 motorcycles that were completely damaged, 83 were government, 47 were private, three were private scooters and 10 were bicycles. According to him, five vehicles and three motorcycles belonging to the High Court Tulsipur were gutted in the fire.

Six government vehicles, a private vehicle, a fire engine, a motorcycle and other vehicles were gutted in the fire. Two vehicles and seven motorcycles were gutted in the fire while two vehicles and five motorcycles belonging to the Inland Revenue Office, Tulsipur were gutted in the fire.

Two vehicles and five motorcycles of the Public Service Commission (PSC) were burnt in Tulsipur. Of the nine motorcycles in Babai Rural Municipality, six are government motorcycles and three are private. Three vehicles and 18 motorcycles of the District Coordination Committee were gutted in the fire.

Two vehicles of District Traffic Office Dang, 29 motorcycles, one vehicle of Water Resources and Irrigation Division Office, Tulsipur and eight government motorcycles were destroyed in the fire, said Assistant Chief District Officer Budha.

The fire has destroyed vehicles of more than two dozen government offices including the Land and Watershed Protection Office, Tulsipur, Province Election Office, Department of Roads and Infrastructure Office. Likewise, more than 34 structures have been damaged.
