Chinese envoy meets PM Karki

Kathmandu. Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song paid a courtesy call on newly appointed Prime Minister Sushila Karki at the latter’s office in Singha Durbar today.

During the meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers today, Prime Minister Karki said Nepal-China bilateral relations were historic and close and Nepal was always committed to the One China Policy.

On the occasion, PM Karki expressed his belief that the Chinese government would continue its assistance in trade, investment, connectivity, agriculture, energy, tourism and technology transfer in the days ahead, according to Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Bhrigu Dhungana.

On the occasion, Prime Minister Karki thanked the Chinese government for its promptness in the reconstruction of the Miteri Bridge at Rasuwagadhi.

On the occasion, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Chen Song congratulated PM Karki on behalf of the Chinese government and expressed confidence that the existing relations between Nepal and China would be further strengthened in the days ahead.

Making it clear that the agreements, cooperation and cooperation reached between China and Nepal would give continuity, China was always ready to work for the benefit of both countries and peoples.
