Kathmandu. An insurance claim of Rs 20.70 billion has been received for vandalism and arson during the Jenji agitation on September 7 and 24 in protest against corruption and misgovernance.

According to the Nepal Insurance Authority, 1,984 insurance claims have been received from 18 companies till September 14. According to NEA, insurance claims worth Rs 20.70 billion have been received for 1,984 insurance policies.

The highest number of claims have been made in Re Oriental Insurance. The company has received an insurance claim of Rs 5.14 billion for 40 insurances.
