Birgunj. Birgunj Customs Office has collected revenue of Rs 39.15 billion in the first two months of the current fiscal year.
The Department of Customs has collected 90.99 per cent of the target of collecting revenue of Rs 43.03 billion in the first two months of the current fiscal year. Chief Customs Administrator of Birgunj Customs Office, Bishnu Prasad Gyawali, said that the revenue collection in the month of August was encouraging.
“We had collected Rs 18.44 billion revenue in the month of August,” he said, adding, “We collected 93.97 per cent of the monthly target in August.” ’
Birgunj Customs Office collected Rs 2.37 billion in revenue in a single day on August 28. Similarly, the bank collected Rs 192 crore in revenue on September 3. Similarly, Rs 1.71 billion was collected on September 11 and Rs 1.11 billion on September 14. Similarly, on September 24, the release day of Genji, a revenue of Rs 30 million was collected.
Similarly, Rs 60 million revenue was collected on September 11 and Rs 110 million on September 11, according to the office. The office collected Rs 18.44 billion in revenue in mid-July and Rs 20.12 billion in the first month of August.
