Kathmandu. CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has demanded an investigation into the incident.

Oli, who is also the outgoing Prime Minister, said that the infiltration took place during the demonstration on the occasion of Constitution Day and the government did not order the protesters to shoot Takita.

Stating that Singha Durbar was burnt after the resignation of the Prime Minister, Nepal’s map was burnt and attempts were made to erase the country’s symbol, Oli said that people’s representatives’ institutions, courts, business establishments, offices of political parties, houses of their leaders and cadres, and personal property were scrubbed and reduced to ashes.

He wrote on Facebook, “Today is Constitution Day. The day the Nepali people promulgated the constitution promulgated by the Constituent Assembly which was elected by the Nepali people after 70 years of struggle. The day when the democratic republic, federal, inclusive system and people’s rights were established. The challenges we faced while drafting this constitution are fresh in your memory. The constitution was promulgated defeating the blockade and challenges to the sovereignty of the country. Therefore, the Constitution of Nepal is the future line written by the Nepali people for themselves. ’

“We are constructing transport infrastructures linking north and south to make the landlocked country land-linked so that no one can impose blockade on Nepal after the promulgation of the new constitution,” he said. “We also signed transport and transit agreement with northern neighbour. We had expanded the power of our sovereignty. We had laid the foundations of our development structures. The economy was struggling,” Oli wrote on Facebook.

“Last week, during a peaceful demonstration in Genji, there was an infiltration – as the caller said. The conspirators who infiltrated it unleashed violence, our youth lost their lives. The government did not order the protesters to shoot Takita. The incident of shooting with an automatic weapon that the police do not have should be investigated. I again express sorrow over the incident and express my condolences to the departed youths and wish for the speedy recovery of the injured,” PM Oli said.

We are in a situation where our constitution is under attack. After my resignation from the Prime Minister’s post, Singha Durbar has been burnt – Nepal’s map has been burnt and attempts are being made to erase the country’s symbol. People’s representatives’ institutions, courts, business establishments, offices of political parties, houses of their leaders and cadres, and personal property have been swept up in the ashes.

“I won’t say much about the conspiracy behind it today, a lot will be revealed by time. Was our country being built or broken, or was it just a spread of anger by creating an imaginary narrative of the country? Our new generation will feel all these things for themselves. Time will also tell what the society, which has been calling the crowd at the airport going abroad negative, will feel about the closure of the permission outside the country today. Our new generation will understand for themselves,” Oli wrote on Facebook.

But we have to understand this in time, if we do not understand it, the sovereignty of our country will remain only in history.

Our youths must have read the history of the death sentence of Kaji Bhim Malla. Bhim Malla, who had returned after expanding the border of the country, was left with only regret after being cut off as soon as he returned to the country. The consequences of discontent that go beyond reality will only serve to be regretted, and that regret will remind us more and more of the country that is being built.

All Nepalese of all generations must unite to face the assault on sovereignty and protect our Constitution. Sovereignty is our existence and the Constitution is the shield of our freedom. Our unity can once again rescue the country from this unimaginable crisis.

I have an appeal to all – save the constitution and protect the sovereignty.
