Dailekh. The Karnali Province Office of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested Account Chief of Dungeshwor Rural Municipality in Dailekh district with cash from service seekers in Surkhet, the capital of Karnali Province.

A team from Karnali Province Office of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) arrested Tanka Bahadur Karki, a seventh-level senior account officer of the rural municipality, with bribe of Rs 100,000 from Mangalgadi Chowk in Birendranagar municipality-9 on Sunday night.

According to CIAA central office Spokesperson Rajendra Kumar Poudel, investigation is underway after they were arrested with the money taken from service seekers in course of making final payment for road upgradation and construction of rural municipality.
