Buddha Air to operate Kathmandu-Kolkata flights again

Kathmandu. Buddha Air is going to operate Kathmandu-Kolkata flight again from October 18.

Buddha Air had started flights to Kolkata on April 15, 2076. At that time, flights to this destination were suspended due to Covid. Buddha Air will operate three flights a week (Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday) with its ATR 72 aircraft.

According to the airlines, the flight will fly from Kathmandu at 7 am and from Kolkata at 9:20 am local time. The flight duration of this route will be approximately one hour and 35 minutes. The one-way fare for this destination has been set at Rs 13,353.

Buddha operates outbound holiday packages for various religious and cultural sites in India from Nepal and inbound holiday packages for various places in Nepal from India.

Along with the flight to Kolkata, the package will also be available to Nepali passengers including Jaggannathpuri Darshan, Sundarbans and Ganga Sagar. These packages are being operated by Buddha Holidays, a sister organisation of Buddha Air.

Buddha Air is operating more than 70 flights a day to different parts of the country. Buddha Air is also operating three flights a week to Varanasi of India.
