Kathmandu. Finance Minister Rameshwar Prasad Khanal and Indian Ambassador to Nepal Nabin Srivastava held a meeting at the latter’s residence in Baluwatar today.
On the occasion, Minister Khanal thanked India for its continued support to Nepal, highlighting the longstanding ties between Nepal and India.
He pointed out the need of continuity of economic partnership with the neighbouring countries and donor countries in the difficult situation created by the current situation in Nepal.
On the occasion, the Indian Ambassador said that India is the closest neighbour of Nepal and they are with Nepal to provide all kinds of support even in this difficult situation while maintaining the special relations between the two countries.
On the occasion, the Indian Ambassador said that India was ready to provide necessary support and cooperation to expedite development projects and programs supported by India and to boost the morale of the Indian private sector that has been investing in Nepal.
On the occasion, discussions were also held on strengthening coordination between Nepal and India for trade facilitation.
