Kathmandu. Medical entrepreneur Durga Prasain has protested against the vandalism and arson of Hotel Hilton at Bhatbhateni in the name of Genji movement.

Organizing a press conference here today, he condemned Min Bahadur Gurung’s act of setting fire to Hotel Hilton at Bhatbhateni. He has described Bhatbhateni and Hotel Hilton as heritage sites.

“Bhatbhateni was vandalised and set on fire in the name of the Genji movement. This is very wrong,” he said. The Hilton Hotel is our heritage. I may have an affair with Min Bahadur. But setting fire to Bhatbhateni is very wrong. This is a very incompetent crime. ’

Prasai claimed that the incident of setting fire to Bhatbhateni and Hotel Hilton could not be done by Nepalis.

In the press conference, he claimed that Mayor Balen Shah was sitting on the ground while Singha Durbar was burning for three days. He expressed regret that the metropolis did not take any initiative to douse the fire.
