Kathmandu. The government has set up the Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund for the reconstruction of physical structures that were vandalized and set on fire during the Genji movement.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on September 20 had decided to establish the fund. The Ministry of Finance has informed that the fund has been established accordingly.
According to the Ministry, the Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund has been established for the reconstruction of physical infrastructures, economic revitalization and relief.
The Ministry has urged the federal government, provincial and local levels, private sector, domestic and foreign citizens, the Non-Resident Nepali community, friendly countries, development partners and international organizations to participate in the great campaign of nation reconstruction.
Such financial assistance amount can be deducted to reduce the taxable income of the contributor in the current fiscal year. The government has opened an account of the Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund (PAF) in the Rastriya Banijya Bank (RBB).
